Overview

These weekly swim sessions have started again for 2022, as of March! The workouts are coordinated by Buffalo State swim coach, Mike Kroll, his assistant coaches, and his collegiate swimmers. You can click here to read Mike Kroll's bio on the Buffalo State web site.

These sessions are for BTC members only. The cost is $5 per session, paid on site. A "short" and a "long" structured swim workout will be provided, if you would like to follow it. Or, you can just do your own workout. The $5 fee goes to the Buffalo State swim team, to help them cover their costs.

These sessions sometimes canceled due to other events taking place in the pool, and sometimes these events are canceled with very short notice. Please be sure to check the BTC calendar and watch the BTC Email list and Facebook pages for the most current information.

Coaching Session Opportunities

BTC members can also coordinate with Mike and his assistants in order to set up 30-minute coaching sessions. A 30min session with one of the assistant coaches or collegiate swimmers is $20. The $20 fee is paid directly to the collegiate swimmer, to help them cover their college expenses. If you are doing a coaching session, then you do not need to pay the $5 fee to the swim team. A 30min session with Mike is $30, but please understand that his availability is more limited than the collegiate swimmers. Video analysis sessions may also be available.

If you would like to coordinate a coaching session, or have any questions about these swims at Buffalo State,Buff State Swim email address to reach Mike and his team.
